Anchor Operations Rocky Mountain Region Today, growing demand for clean-burning natural gas, declining production in mature geologic basins, and renewed concerns about energy security underline the importance of the Rocky Mountain States as a major producing region. Over the next two decades, production from the Rocky Mountain States will be critical to meeting the natural gas demand within the United States.

Anchor continues to strengthen its leadership position in the Rocky Mountain Region through an experienced technical and operations group that has been essentially intact for more than a decade. Anchor is a clear leader in providing customized fluid solutions for the region’s diverse drilling environments.

Sales and operations offices for the region are located in Denver, CO and Casper, WY and Anchor’s drilling fluid and energy service operations include long-standing customer relationships in Wyoming’s Powder River and Green River Basins; Utah’s Natural Buttes, River Bend and the Covenant Oil Field; Colorado’s Piceance Basin; and the Williston Basin of N. Dakota and Montana as well as others.

Anchor’s technical, sales and field representatives have all attended drilling fluids training schools. This segment of our employees has an average of over 20 years each in the drilling fluids industry. During this time, they have participated in numerous continued education classes and seminars including, but not limited to, pressure control, poisonous gas, solids control equipment, completion and workover fluids as well as safety and environmental programs.

Anchor’s Rocky Mountain Region covers a large geographical area and the demands for successful implementation of projects vary significantly between projects. Anchor continues to be successful due to exceptional and personalized support at every stage of the well process or service activity.
