Anchor Company History The management team of Anchor Drilling Fluids USA, Inc. includes:

Robert A. West, Chief Executive Officer

Mr. West has been active in the drilling fluids and related oilfield service businesses for over 40 years and has been Anchor’s Chief Executive since July 2005. Starting in the 1970’s, Mr. West was owner and president of Beacon Well Services in Oklahoma City, which provided vacuum trucks, frac tanks, liquid mud and related services and equipment to drillers and oil and gas exploration companies. Mr. West took Beacon public in 1977 and sold the company while remaining as president until 1985. As well as managing several investment companies, prior to the 2005 acquisition, Mr. West represented Newpark Drilling Fluids in the mid-continent area. Mr. West has been active in the Tulsa business community and with the University of Tulsa where he has been on the Board of Trustees since 1988. Mr. West holds a Petroleum Marketing Degree from the University of Tulsa.

Phil S. West, President and Chief Operating Officer

Mr. West has been Anchor’s President since July 2005. Previously, Mr. West held various board, officer, corporate business development and operating company management positions at The Williams Companies. Mr. West directed American Soda, LLP, as Williams, Vice President and served as Executive and Managing Director of Williams International, Inc., overseeing oil and gas assets located in South America. Prior to joining Williams, Mr. West held various management and engineering positions for Conoco, Inc. including Russian Arctic Pipeline projects for its subsidiary, Polar Lights Russia. Mr. West completed the Conoco Pipeline Management Development Program and holds an MBA from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University and a Bachelors Science Degree in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Tulsa in 1987.

Greg Davis, Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Davis joined Anchor as Controller and Chief Financial Officer in July 2005. Previously, Mr. Davis held various financial management and administration positions in the corporate planning and development group of The Williams Companies. Prior to Williams, Mr. Davis served as Controller of The Tennessee Coal Company as well as serving in various accounting and controller roles at Interstate Coal Company. Mr. Davis holds an MBA and a Bachelors Science Degree in Accounting from Western Kentucky University in 1981.

David Cunningham, Regional Manager, Southern

Mr. Cunningham joined Anchor in July 2005 as the Regional Manager of the Southern Region. Mr. Cunningham has nearly 30 years of experience in the drilling fluids industry and, prior to joining Anchor, held various management positions with Baroid Drilling Fluids, Ambar Lonestar Drilling Fluids and Halliburton Energy Services. Mr. Cunningham holds a Bachelors Science Degree in Business Administration from Southwestern State University, Oklahoma in 1972.

Tom Stokes, Regional Manager, Rocky Mountains

Mr. Stokes joined Anchor in 1984 and has nearly 30 years of experience in the Rocky Mountain drilling fluids industry. Previously, Mr. Stokes held various technical and managing positions at Milchem/Milpark Drilling Fluids and International Drilling Fluids. Since 1994, he has served as Anchor’s Rocky Mountains Regional Manager.

Terry Davis, Regional Manager, Ozark

Mr. Davis joined Anchor in 2006 when Anchor acquired Ozark Mud & Chemical, Inc. Mr. Davis has 30 years of experience in the drilling fluids industry and, prior to founding Ozark in 1987, Mr. Davis held various engineering, sales and engineering manager positions with Atwood and IMCO Services. For twenty years, Ozark has been the drilling fluids company of choice in the Arkoma Basin and they are the leader in the emerging Fayetteville Shale development as well.

Robert “Toby” LeBorgne, Regional Manager, Toby’s Vacuum Truck Services

Mr. LeBorgne joined Anchor in 2006 when Anchor acquired Toby’s Vacuum Truck Services, Inc. Mr. LeBorgne founded Toby’s in 1989 as a one-truck business and thereafter built the operation to its current 80 trucks and 75 people. Toby’s provides water hauling services to the growing number of over 1,500 producing wells in the Piceance Basin in northwestern Colorado, one of the most active unconventional natural gas resource plays.
